Originated in People’s Republic of China, Air China is considered the official air carrier of the country having its headquarters in Beijing. The Beijing Capital, Chengdu Shuangliu and Shanghai Pudong international airports are the airline’s primary hubs. With a fleet size of 327 aircraft, the airline provides flight services to 185 destinations across Asia, Western Europe, North America and the Middle East regions.

Air China Special Services
In keeping up with this mission, the airline provides special assistance to the following passengers.
- Unaccompanied minors- Any child between the age of 5 and 12 years travelling alone will get the UM assistance upon request. The responsible guardians should fill in the relevant papers and request the UM service well in advance. For all domestic destinations, the authorities should have the request at least a day in advance. For international flights, the time limit is at least 48 hours before the flight departure.
- Elderly passengers – Elderly passengers and guests with difficulty in mobility will get the wheel chair service both at the airport and on-board the flight. The passengers must make the request for the wheel chair at the ticketing office in the city. It would be convenient for the authorities to provide the service, if it is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure.
Air China Airlines provides special assistance for pregnant guests, infants, passengers travelling with pets and for passengers with special needs.
